Welcome to the Fourth Annual Avena Maryland Italian Festival, presented by Jarrettsville Furniture—the largest Italian festival in Maryland!
Join us for an unforgettable weekend celebrating the food, music, culture, and traditions of Italy. Enjoy nationally recognized entertainment, authentic Italian cuisine, carnival rides and games, artisan shopping, cooking demonstrations, wine tastings, cultural exhibits, fireworks, and family-friendly activities throughout the festival grounds.
More than a festival, this is a celebration of family, heritage, and community. Every meal shared, every song sung, and every smile exchanged reflects the spirit of Italy and the values that unite us.
Best of all, net proceeds benefit regional charities through the charitable efforts of the Society of Italian American Businessmen.

Tickets
General Admission is $12 per day.
Children 12 and under are admitted FREE when accompanied by a parent or guardian.
Military Appreciation Night
On Friday evening, active-duty military personnel, Reservists, Veterans, and National Guard members receive half-price admission ($6) in recognition of their service.

Festival Amenities
Credit Cards
Credit cards are accepted at the admission gates, festival bars, carnival rides, and most vendor locations. ATMs are also available throughout the grounds.
Restrooms
Convenient restroom facilities are located throughout the festival site.
Strollers
Strollers are welcome.
Prohibited Items
For the safety and comfort of all guests, please leave large bags, backpacks, coolers, glass containers, lawn chairs, and other oversized items at home.
Pets
Pets are not permitted due to venue regulations and insurance requirements.
Breastfeeding Station
A private Breastfeeding Station and baby-changing area are also available for nursing mothers and families with infants.
